Maintenance Technician

Location: Bristol CT
Pay: $23.00-25.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment and be comfortable troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to help prevent equipment breakdowns.
• Work with motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, and other equipment.
• Read and understand equipment manuals, blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
• Document maintenance work, parts used, and equipment conditions.
• Order parts and supplies as needed.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Work closely with the production team to reduce downtime and keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics .
• Knowledge of bearings, belts, gearboxes, motors, and alignment.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience with 120V–480V systems .
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Welding experience, preferably MIG/TIG .
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in different environments.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
