Medical Office AssistantThe Medical Office Assistant is responsible for all aspects of the medical office, and may include responsibilities in the front office and clinical areas. Has full access to patient health information.Schedule: M-F 8a-5pLocation: The MOA FLOAT will travel between all of the Iredell Physician Network clinics on based on a schedule.Job Qualifications:High School graduate or equivalent required.Clerical experience including, but not limited to, scheduling, payments, billing/coding, medical records, and a working knowledge of all aspects of medical office equipment. Excellent computer skills including knowledge of business software.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to pay close attention to details, multi-task, and excellent customer service skills.Current CPR certification or willing to complete within 30 days of hire.Physical Demands:Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and, sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
