About the Facility LocationRichmond, Virginia offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of dining, outdoor, and cultural experiences. Outdoor enthusiasts will find options such as rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking, and whitewater paddling on the James River, as well as a 52-mile Capital Trail for cyclists. The city is also home to botanical gardens, historical museums, a recognized craft beer scene, an arts scene anchored by murals and galleries, and upscale dining options, providing broad appeal for a variety of interests.
About the Clinician's WorkdayThe nurse practitioner will provide inpatient neurosurgical coverage on a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at an on-site facility in Richmond, Virginia. Clinical responsibilities include post-procedural daily care for adult patients, as well as patient and family communication and education. The clinician will collaborate with one employed neurosurgery NP throughout all assigned coverage periods. No call coverage is required for this assignment.
