POSITION OVERVIEW Fidelity National Financial, Inc. (NYSE: FNF) is seeking a Title Examiner for Florida Title Production. FNF is a leading provider of title insurance and transaction services to the real estate and mortgage industries. LOCATION This position is hybrid based in Maitland, FL.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Searching and Examining.
- Use our Title plant and our Production software to create title packages and reports.
- Work with our offshore team.
- Customer service.
- Search our title plant and public records for legal documents related to property.
- Examine those documents for validity and accuracy.
- Prepare reports that outline actions needed to clear title.
- Report any defects or discrepancies in the title chain.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 3-5 years of Florida Title Search and Exam.
- Knowledge and understanding of Foreclosures, Probates and Bankruptcy and how those affect title.
- Experience with Title Point and Title Wave a plus, but not necessary.
- Good computer and typing skills.
- Must be able to meet productivity goals and turn times.
- Detail Oriented.
